Stratigraphy & Reservoir Sedimentology

Stratigraphic and sedimentary research can provide helpful insights in the geology and composition of observed reservoirs. Through this research, more detailed predictions can be made of reservoir distribution and potential fluid behaviour. The following  subjects can be (part of) the study:

• Delineation of sedimentary reservoir architecture based on seismic-stratigraphic trends, coupled with geological guided log-correlation.
• Definition of reservoir lithofacies and reservoir properties based on core descriptions and mud logging data assimilated with wireline/LWD.
• Micro-palaeontology, petrographic and diagenetic oriented studies.
